We were only in town for the night and this restaurant had garnered good reviews. It did not disappoint! There were a lot of great choices and the food was excellent. Thanks to Abby, our friendly server, our food choices were excellent. Regarding allergies this restaurant goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. They had all their dishes listed and categorized what allergens could be present AND offered alternatives! If we're ever in the area again I will make it a point to come back.

I've been recommending this place to other people for months just because I've always heard it was so good. I finally got around to going with my family and it lived up to the expectations. We originally had reservations for inside, but they recommended their tables outside since they were available. Their outdoor seating is very nice and inviting. The wait staff was attentive which is usually not always the case when you're seated outside. We both ordered flights. A beer flight for me and a sangria flight for her. I recommend either one. I ordered their pickle jar for the novelty of it all, but we ended up loving it with the variety of things that come in it. I ordered the steak frites for my entree and it came with an incredible peppercorn sauce. I highly recommend having the pickle jar with it for the pickled red onions alone. The sour contrast to the rich steak was perfect. I will continue to recommend this place to anyone looking for a good restaurant in Allentown and will for sure be back.

Great restaurant - wish we lived closer to come more often. Well priced and delicious. Don't miss the grilled haloumi appetizer and the salmon!

Nice place for an early brunch on Saturdays. Parking is kinda hard to find but don't let that stop you. Pleasant staff and owners greeted us. Bartender was nice and the different beers made it interesting. Bright warm vibe and the food was good. The highlight was the pickled jalapeños on the chicken sandwich! Sooo good

Burrata with roasted red pepper sauce on slices of toasted baguette did not disappoint. Fish tacos made with generous portion ahi tuna, iceberg lettuce, sesame aioli, and seaweed needed larger tortillas to contain it all. Tuna portion was truly generous. Served with rice on the side. Chicken & waffles, half chicken roasted with honey aioli and couple waffles with arugula and celery on top was pretty good. On another day spaghetti squash with tomatoes and capers had some heat to it and was served hot. Have tried their blend of renowned Pat LaFrieda burger, truffle fries, shishita peppers and crab salad in the past. Awesome having restaurant of this caliber in the neighborhood.

Welcome to Allentown, would you like a burger and fries with your visit? Yes, please! Came out to Allentown on Saturday for a comedy shop and was lucky enough to get seated at this hopping burger joint around 5pm. Getting the last two seats at the bar my gf and I perused the menu quickly and both settled on splitting the Roadside burger. Double bacon cheeseburger with two fried patties, lettuce, tomato, Pecanwood smoked bacon, pickles and yellow American cheese on a Marty's sesame seed bun. This burger is packing a lot of juice. Served with fries. The burger had the perfect grilled flavor to it and I would easily get this burger on the regular if I lived closer to Allentown. I also think the addition of the Pecanwood Bacon complements this burger spectacularly. Fries were above average. Odd fact, you cannot specify how you would like your burger cooked here. I thought I was stuck in an episode of Monty Python as my gf stated we would like it medium well and the bartender said I am sorry, but we cannot accommodate cooking preferences as we can only cook the roadside burger medium well. She said it dead pan as can be and I guess didn't really listen when we said that is how we wanted it cooked, what do I know, I am just a tourist smh. Do yourself a favor and reserve a table ahead of time, also FYI it gets very loud in the main dining area, however they also have a very large outside dining area as well if you prefer outside cafeteria style table dining. As always people SYOY!!!

This is a perfect little hipster place in Allentown. Very busy because it is very very good. From the outside looks like a takeover of an old local dive bar. From the inside it looks much more inviting. They also have outdoor seating in the back which doesn't offer much in terms of views but boy does it provide for the atmosphere. The menu doesn't look particularly elaborate or complicated but everything matches something else on the menu so if you want to have an appetizer and a main you have dishes that compliment each other well. We came here for lunch at the end of lunch rush but place was packed to the gills and people were on the waiting list trying to get in and I can see why. The dishes come out as tasty as you can imagine and when you have both adults and kids cleaning their plates it is saying something especially if there is quite a bit of food. Definitely a place to visit.

We love coming here for weekend brunch. Yesterday we had the Maple Leaf Poutine and it was soo delicious. Sweet and savory in beautiful harmony. One time I had the banana foster waffles and I loved it. Another time I got the St. Francis and it was perfect. My boyfriend LOVES their Steak Frites, he gets that or the Cuban almost every visit. The Chocolate Chip bread pudding was to die for, I am SO glad I got to try it when it was on the menu (Jan 2024). During warmer and sunnier weather, we love sitting in their outdoor seating area. Service is always amazing because we feel welcomed every time we visit. Sarah served us yesterday and she was simply fantastic. Amazingly attentive, refilled our coffees and made sure I had enough cream for my second cup. Also, what coffee do you guys brew with because it's REALLY good.

Probably THE.BEST.BREAKFAST I have had in a very long time. The saltiness of the halloumi with the creamy, perfect poached egg and freshness of the pesto was a match made in heaven. And honestly, that is saying a lot for me, because I am not a huge breakfast fan, but I would hands down order this again, and again and again. I don't have much else to say. Out waitress was great. We didn't have a reservation (which I don't recommend on the weekend... this place is POP.U.LAR) but the hostess gave us a table if we could be done in 75 minutes, in time for an 11:45 AM seating. Despite that, they did not rush us. The place does appear to be a neighborhood haunt, just about everyone who came through the door seemed to know, what I presume is the owner or manager, as well as the staff. So there was definitely a nice, casual vibe to the place. I honestly need to come back for dinner, if breakfast, a meal I generally don't care about was this good, what other surprises await?!?
